The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has deemed September 19-25, 2021 as Child Passenger Safety Week and September 25, 2021 as National Seat Check Saturday! According to a study in 2018, car crashes are the leading cause of death for children (Cunningham et al., 2018).
The NHTSA has three main steps for the car seat process:
1. Finding the Right Seat

2. Installing the Seat

3. Registration
Register your car seat with the manufacturer so you can receive recalls and safety notices on your child’s seat!
